April Event- She Is Safe

As you may already know this year is our 10th year in business so in order to celebrate such a special occasion we are hosting a special event, sale, guest speaker, or surprise each month highlighting various trends, vendors, inventory, artists, etc. We are so excited about our upcoming April event because it highlights and speaks to the foundation and the undercurrent and heart of what we do here. Sometimes design and decor can feel like an industry of excess, of wants not needs, of frivolous spending, of materialism- and even though we are absolutely passionate about bringing a sense of craftsmanship and true artistry to the aesthetics and details that make a house a home- the furnishings and finishing details that help evoke an atmosphere of beauty, comfort, and hospitality- sometimes, in comparison to the struggles of others, these things feel lacking in substance. This is why we have partnered with She is Safe since the very beginning of our operations to ensure that every single time that you make a purchase at Front Door Fabrics and Interiors a portion of our profits go towards funding this amazing initiative to help save, restore, and equip women and children in the throws of the trafficking industry for a better and hope filled future. You can read more about the program in Mali and about She is Safe { here }.

Please join us on April 27th from 6:30-8:30 as we host a special night honoring this wonderful organization and what they do not only in Mali (our sponsorship) but throughout the world. We will have a special guest speaker from She Is Safe to inform and educate us all about their global efforts and initiative. The event will also host a wonderful spread of appetizers by Delectables by Holly and a silent auction. If you cannot make the event make sure that you tune in to Charlotte Today at 11:00 that morning for a feature as well!

Thank you to all of our loyal customers for 10 years of business allowing us to consistently fund a sewing machine each month for these women and children!
