Congrats to one of our very own Front Door Fabric and Interiors designers on her beautiful wedding this past weekend as well as a congrats to her mother, our fearless store owner and leader and first time mother-of-the-bride. Natalie’s flawless ceremony was signature to her personal style and was a sweet and romantic contrast to a beautiful raw urban space in Knoxville, TN. She was in love with one of our new Tilton Fenwick fabrics for Duralee from the store (anyone who knows her personally can attest that this pattern has her name written all over it) and used the romantic coral, aqua, and navy palette as well as the the lacy floral interlocking design as the basis for her wedding inspiration from every detail from the invitations to the cakes, the flowers to the bridesmaid dresses, even using the pattern itself as a ceremony backdrop, wedding sign, and table overlays along with various other coordinating prints. We have to say, we absolutely love the way it turned out!
Natalie totally transformed this brick and concrete space to something so unique and signature to her special day. The fabric backdrops, banding, sashes, and overlays were the perfect way to add pattern, color, and detail where there currently was none and soften the look of the space as well as completely express and continually reinforce her wedding theme and color pallet. We think the idea is genius! Using fabric backdrops and simple overlays is a fantastic way to quickly change your look and create a theme for any special event or upcoming holiday celebration. Take a look at some other ideas below and stop by today to grab some autumn inspired fabrics to coordinate with your decor and set the scene for your Halloween snack table, Thanksgiving centerpiece, or Christmas brunch buffet lineup:
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Smith! We are thrilled for you and can’t wait to see you back when you return from your honeymoon!
