Blues and greens will always be a classic combination and a colorful take on “neutral” seeing as they surround us outside in our every day they always serve as a great base by which to layer other pops of colors with. This entire downstairs in progress circulates on that aesthetic basis utilizing a range of shades of blues and greens in a combination of various pattern scales and applications creating a nicely layered feel and visual flow from room to room. Subtle pops of saturated red tones assist in tying in existing oriental rugs and traditional accents while still keeping the emphasis on cooling down all of the reds and golds and transitioning to something crisp and fresh. We are loving this combination of all of the florals and geometrics together!
