This shot from a lovely in progress design centers around a fantastic aqua and ivory geometric special order rug to anchor the room. Custom upholstery in an abstracted aqua and ivory texture was absolutely MADE to compliment this rug and another upholstered piece in textured ivory/ aqua contrast piping adds a sense of crispness to the scene. Designer embroidered linen accent pillows with contrast flange and pleated corner detail further reinforce the scheme while the true showpiece here, deep taupe velvet with raspberry and aqua floral motif add a certain depth and richness to an otherwise wispy and airy space. The juxtaposition of these colors and textures simultaneously together feels calming and custom, luxe and light and we were loving the entire combination!
