Here at Front Door we have a full staff of formally trained interior designers available for in home consultations from a simple paint consultation (see our dramatic part 1 of this home makeover post for an example of how simple yet effective a paint consultation can be) or to help with some accent pillows and finishing touches all the way to full on, full scale, full blown room transformations and everything in between. This particular client has a great eye for design and a keen love for the beach having grown up in the Wilmington area and having family in Charleston as well. Given that, she wanted her new home with her husband and two adorable pups to be a serene and spa like retreat…a place that was sleek, clean, fresh, modern, free of visual clutter…a place for the mind and body and spirit to rest after a long day and feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and at peace- a place that was equal parts casual and approachable yet refined and sophisticated. She wanted her love for the sea to be a subtle reference in her color choices and for the general aesthetic to not only be soothing but also be a fun, hip, young, and lively place conducive both layout wise and durability wise to entertain family and friends. She was so kind as to let us come in and professionally photograph (with all of these gorgeous shots taken by the immensely talented Paige Goodwin) all of the wonderful Front Door items in her new home and we could not be more thrilled with not only how breathtakingly gorgeous it all turned out but to be able to share this dramatic transformation with you. We hope these pictures inspire you as to the potential in your own home and we cannot wait to help you unveil your own road map to your own before/afters.
