This quick snapshot off of one of our designer’s desks shows a classic combination of an in progress design for a recent in home consultation revamp of a master bedroom. This design focuses on maximizing a sense of timeless tradition with shades of blue and white and soft sea foam grounded by oatmeal and driftwood hued linens and neutrals and energized by a pops of coral. Layers of textures and patterns keep this refined and restrained pallet feeling dynamic and well rounded. Layers, are key to any great design but especially in a bedroom where ample opportunities for fabrics and textiles exist (headboard, euro shams, bedding, accent pillows, bedskirt, accent chairs…etc.) This design will be complimented by driftwood grey walls, crisp white bedding, and blue and white porcelain lamps and accents. A soothing and serene retreat, indeed.
