Soft, subtle, sophisticated, subdued- a serene pallet with the softest accent of a wash of a rainbow hued watercolor print. This latest in-home design consultation features a guest bedroom space that needed to mesh with the greenery and shade of the mature trees of the outside landscape visible through the focal bay window and window seat area while also offering a pallet that is fun, lively, and whimsical for grandchildren and guests, and that meshes with the aesthetic of the home’s style and client’s flair for oriental inspirations. A monochromatic pallet of grayed down olive greens and subtle sages provided the perfect backdrop for crisp linen tones and the perfect balance for the citrus accents in the feature oriental fan inspired pattern. Herringbone textures, slubbly linen, and luxe velvet keeps this monochromatic look feeling refined and well rounded. We think this space will be a dream to cozy up with a book in the window seat nook once it is all finished!
