This week Front Door Fabrics and Interiors celebrates SEVEN YEARS in business! We are so grateful to all of our customers who have loyally shopped small, shopped local, and shopped FDF&I these past few years- without you we wouldn’t be where we are or who we are today. We are so thrilled to be able to serve such a special part in helping you achieve your interior design and decor dreams and goals and to have such a personal relationship with you as you make your house a home. We cannot wait to see what this next year and all the years to follow bring us from clients new and old to new fabric trends and merchandise to bountiful design details and opportunities here and in between.
To commemorate the special occasion here on the blog here is a look at seven of our very new, this-just-in, fabulous pieces that we feel create the absolute perfect pallet for this season as we transition from summer to fall…(and from six into seven)! The dynamic layers of neutrals play off of each other so distinctively here proving that neutral doesn’t have to be boring. By playing with the differing undertones of all of these neutral shades we have created here a soft pallet of weathered grays and taupes with subtle undertones of blue recalling fading images of summer driftwood and ocean tides while the contrast of warmer taupes, subtle sage, marigold, and charcoal (with a distinct eggplant undertone) help to narrate us towards the warmer brilliance of autumn and a new season, in every sense of the word.
