This past week we ventured up to the ITMA Showtime fabric market in High Point, NC in order to source some new summer inventory for the store for both in-stock, ready-to-purchase bolts and special order samples for specialized custom designs. We went with the mission to find the latest trends in textile design (stay tuned for special blog posts on these!) from motifs and patterns to scale and colors in order to provide our customers with the best of the best as far as current and cutting edge textile designs go and we are so thrilled with what we found! Metallic accents, exaggerated scales, hand painted and watercolor applications, three dimensional trims, Crypton protected fabric in alluring prints and textures, trompe l’oeil “embroidery” and “crewel,” European influence toile and scenery, unique geometric patterns, intricate details, lace motifs….we got it all!
